Casual Discrimination

...I need to make sure you don’t have any weapons."

It was my first year in college at WSU. My car had just been broken into and I needed to file a police report.

As soon as the cop arrived, I grabbed my backpack, so I could go to class directly after I filed the report.

The cop then says “I need to make sure you don’t have any weapons”. He orders me to turn around and pats me down before taking my report. Somehow I got victimized twice in the same day.
