About 15 years ago I was looking for extra work in sales (I already had a job at the time) I randomly walked into a local home entertainment sales chain here in town.

Originally I was just looking for a television for my apartment at the time, I looked around and I liked how the store was set up and I thought to myself “I could work here”.

I asked one of the only people working there for a job application and he replied “You won’t get a job dressed liked that”.

I had on a polo shirt and jeans, casually dressed, I was surprised.

Later on that week I got an interview at a car dealership with similar apparel on and been in the business ever since.
